The Central Works group provides ethylene oxide sterilisation services for medical devices, as well as the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries. We also offer all the required products for the delivery assistance, as well as mother and baby first care. The elements are assembled in the sequential order of use and separated into 2 sterilisation bags, al-lowing the preservation of the sterility for a longer period. The Emergency Kit Presentation This kit is presented in a carton box (27x20x11cm) which contains the 2 sterilisation bags, marked A for routines before delivery and B for the routines after delivery. Each box also includes 8 disinfection wipes with 70% vol. ethyl alcohol.DELIVERY & QUALITY
Equipment wise we have 2 sterilisation chambers of approximately 50m3 and another of 2m3, allowing the processing of around 20,000 pallets per year. The faster release of products to the market is achieved through aeration chambers, that each steriliser has, thus reducing the EO residuals sterilisa-tion. Service wise, the Central Work provides technical professionals dedicated to help any manufacturing facilities fitting their unique EO sterilisation requirements and maintaining their medical devices steri-lisation in regulatory compliance aligned with increased productivity. All programs are performed by equipment corroborating with the guidelines published by EN 1422 and ISO 11135.WELCOME
After an extensive market analysis of the healthcare industry, we understood that at the time of the childbirth on the maternities and hospitals not only there is a large waste of materials but also many of the times there is a large lack of availability of the needed materials for the safe and risk-less childbirth, for both the mother and the baby. Together with the obstetrician specialists and midwives, we decided to manufacture a complete kit with all the necessary materials for the good execution of the baby delivery. The kit was tested for safety, health and hygiene, by specialists formed in the area, whom work on this kind of verification with the European Community on our factory. This resulted on the creation of this kits that are prepared to assist and execute a baby delivery in any appropriated place. They can be used in ambulances, maternities, medical posts, military posts, clinics, residences, as well as the most remote places and maternities. The kits are made up of materials that are totally disposable and 100% sterile and put under vacuum. There are multiple advantages for the use of this kit, including space and operational optimisation (as you have all the necessary materials for a baby delivery, without needing to be searching for the materials needed), its 100% sterilisation, as well as cost and time control per baby delivery. The most important differentiation point is that the kit was considered by specialist in obstetrics and midwives as an excellent kit for the combat of Neo- natal mortality (child-mortality).

Central Works Group always had and still has as one of its main objectives produce high quality and meeting the requirements of its customers
and the market in general as well as all applicable legal requirements.
Therefore Bastos Viegas bet on the implementation and constant updating of a quality control system that currently has decades of experience.
In this sense always equipped its laboratories with modern testing equipment in order to be able to test and control everything it produces in
accordance with all applicable directives, and in order to fully satisfy all requirements of a very diverse and demanding market for which they

Although the quality control laboratory is integrated in the ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 company Certification, it is not formally accredited, but given
